Installation¶
Download the addon¶
The addon is available here:

Install the Blender addon¶
Once downloaded, you can install the addon in Blender. To do so, open Blender, go to Edit > Preferences..., select the Addons section, and click on the
button.
Select the Google-Earth-Decoder-Optimization-Tools.zip archive you just retrieved, and wait for the addon to appear in the Blender Preferences window. Once the addon is available, tick the checkbox to enable it.
Warmup the Blender addon¶
- in Blender, go to
Edit>Preferences..., and select theAddonssection. - in the
MSFS building package toolssection, click on the
button and find the packagetools.exe bin in your MSFS SDK folders:
- (optional) in the
MSFS building package toolssection, if have the Steam version of Microsoft Flight Simulator© 2020, you encounter some problems when building the MSFS scenery packages produced by GEDOT, you can tick theMsfs Steam versioncheckbox. - (optional) in the
Compressonatorsection, click on the
button and find the Compressonator CLI tool in the Compressonator installation folders:
